Please do, I’ll buy your dimmers in a heartbeat.
Where can I buy them in EU (Germany)?
Thanks
As far as I know they (still) don’t have a distributor in Germany but you may have a look here http://www.intellihome.be/de/domotica/z-wave/micro-modules.html
Yes, I bought one from them, let’s see
Thanks
Qubino is available on many webshops in eu, just search for qubino in google, also in on ebay (for EU customers only) goap_doo on eBay
I ordered (and paid) from intellihome.be I then, they wrote me it will be not available till 8th February (I have not read it on the website).
I have Qubino dimmer installed on my Led Downlights.
First impression; Qubino superior to Fibaro;
- the Qubino does not need a dimmer bypass as Fibaro does (25 Watt wasted)
-and Qubino does not show any flickering across its dimming range. With Fibaro it was difficult to find a setting where flickering was minimal visible (somewhat around 50% dimming proved acceptable, but still was visible)
Good news…thanks for the feedback
Hi
Is it possible to remove the two motion sensors as i don’t use them
They are not Motion Sensors.
They are Binary Sensors, it’s a big difference as they are in fact a switch.
Have a read of the tech spec’s and you will realise how powerful these devices are.
Okay, I know theay actually are a momentary/latching/temperature/etc? switch but why are they shown as motion sensors and is there a way to change that?
I connected one to a wall switch to switch multiple lights already but when I remove the 2nd one as i have to use for it, it keeps appearing back
There is no way of actually removing them as the functions are built into the module and appear in both the Dashboard and Device page.
However, you do not need to add them to your Dashboard, by default, Vera adds all functions/attributes of the module to the Device page, it’s up to you as to which you want to display on the Dashboard.
Simply use the Pin which is located in the upper RHS of the device window to Pin it to the Dashboard or visaversa.
okay, thanks
If the _Motion Sensor is bothering you, you can rename them in the Advanced Tab.
I couldn’t work out why they used the Motion Terminology, however, it appears to be something that is in the jason file that is uploaded by Vera, this may change in UI7 or when the new Gen Device becomes available.
I am on Ui7…
The name is easily changed… also the image is quite straight forward, the problem is the device itself is threated by the vera like a motion sensor…
Sometimes it is easier to having a toggle switch. This problem i am also having with my 433mhz stuff…
I would have found it a neater solution
Sorry for the thread necromancy…
Have anyone figured out a way of making input I2 and I3 on the Qubino dimmer appear as Binary Lights on the Vera? The Motion Sensor class makes it hard using these inputs in scenes.
I tried just replacing:
device_type urn:schemas-micasaverde-com:device:MotionSensor:1 to urn:schemas-upnp-org:device:BinaryLight:1
device_file from D_MotionSensor1.xml to D_BinaryLight1.xml
category_num 4 to 3
but it didn’t work. The device changed appearance but couldn’t be switched on and off in the interface. I know changed device class could mess up third party apps but I have managed before without problems.
I have my I2 and I3 inputs connected to a physical light switch and would like it to work like one in Vera as well. Any ideas?
I think they can only be used as motion sensor So you should be able to put it as an input for scenes but you are not able to switch it directly.
You can however set the “triggered” value by lua so you could use a virtual switch so set the “triggered” value.
Since I updated to 1.7.1419 all 5 of my Qubino Micro Flush dimmer Modules (ZMNHDA2) stopped updating there status.
I can turn them on and off with the Vera and I wil show the right icon (on / off) But when I use the switch/push button the lights turn on/off but my Vera won’t get the status update.
Running 1.7.1419 on Vera Edge
Does anyone know a sollution?
Was this resolved?
