Do you have a distributor in Germany?
Have you forgot to close the door? … Qubino Z-Wave will remind you!
The perfect solution for you is Qubino Flush 1 relay module in combination with door sensor. Sensor on the door alerts you, if you have left your door open and the relay can unlock the door.
Home security taken to the next level with Qubino door sensors
Two varieties - to satisfy all your needs
The Qubino Open door sensor comes in two varieties, to satisfy all your needs. You can choose between a built-in or a surface mounted version.
One product ? two functions
With Qubino Flush 1 relay module in combination with Qubino door sensor you can on your smartphone:
[ul]monitor if your door are left open,
unlock the door.[/ul]
Surface door sensor
Ordering code: NEDJAA1
Sensor comes in three parts. Door mounted part is screwed by two screws on the door, the second part ? Door frame part goes screwed on the door frame, this part has 2 connectors for 2 wires. Third part is called Cover for connectors and covers connectors.
When the door is closed the two parts should be aligned.
Built-in door sensor
Ordering code: NEDJAA2
Sensor comes in two parts. One part is built-in in the door, while the second part with 2 wires is inserted on the door frame.
When the door is closed the two parts should be aligned.
Unfortunately not yet, but working on that. If any distributors interested, contact us at info@qubino.com
How are the door sensors powered ?
The sensors are hardwired to the Binary Input(s) of the modules.
They are ELV, approx 6vAC.
The Flush 1 Relay has 2 of these devices available, one I have working as a Scene Controller using a Push Button Switch, the other as a Door sensor. Very effective and best of all it replaced a Zwave Door sensor which I have redeployed to another Door that hasn’t a corresponding Flush Module.
Qubino can explain the differences between the Modules…
If door sensor are connected to qubino module, qubino module must be connetced to 24VDC power supply, and not to 230VAC. Door sensor can be connected to the qubino module on the same way like push button is connected to I1 od the module for switching on/off the light.
The sensors if rated at 240v (which most are) can be used successfully in conjunction with a 240VAC powered module.
In testing the voltage across the sensors terminal is approx 6vAC.
24VDC is used when in conjunction with door looks, a different scenario to the one that was being discussed.
Am I missing the “order” page? I’m on the website, and it’s not obvious to me how I’d go about buying any of these.
Which website are you looking at?
The one hek posted: http://qubino.com/
That is the manufactures page.
They don’t sell to the public.
Send an email to info@qubino.com for current resellers.
I would luv to have a combo of the Flush Thermostat and the Two Relay product …
Basically I would like to automate the Kitchen Oven Hood (Fan and Light) base on temperature.
Depending on where you want to take the tTemp, you could get away with just the Flush 2 relay, as all modules come with an optional temp probe input.
These are Very versatile modules, especially when you consider that they have at least one binary switch included.,
They work well with PLEG (I have a test Flush Dimmer, hooked up with 2 PLEG scenes).
You won’t be disappointed when they become available.

Would be nice if it included humidity as well (the biggest reason I use my hood). Also, a way to turn the fan “high” or “low” would be great. That might be going overboard though…LOL
^^^
Why stop at high/low when you could use the Flush Dimmer to control fan speed in conjunction with a Flush Thermostat.
Seems like good information to include on the manufacturer’s page.
I couldn’t agree more.
Apart from ourselves qubino.com.au , I have no idea who else sells there modules.
Please post when there is US availability.
I have a second use (Besides my Oven Fan/Light hood).
I would like to use it to thermostatically control my Hot Water return loop pump (which allows virtually instant on hot water throughout the house).
Currently I just trigger for 10 minutes when motion sensors near wet areas is detected.
For people with Hot Water Heat (Boilers) this would make an effective control for the boiler temp itself. Where the boiler temperature is
a function of outside temp.
^^^
Unfortunately, that is not for me to say. ;D
However, if I hear anymore I’ll post it up here.
As far as Australia/New Zealand, we are hoping for March.
The new Gen 5 Zwave Chipset has thrown a huge spanner in the works, it’s just something we have to live with.
I’m sure it will be worth it.
As far as the Hot water loop, the probe can detect the air temp of if bound to a hot water pipe would report back the temp of the pipe.
The Flush Thermo & PLEG will work well together.
I’ve updated the spec’s here

We are interested in US market and still in search for distributors.
