2 problems on my devices:
in Local mode (wifi), when I tap on my IP camera, I have a back screen and when I click on back button I have an error message (see screenshot)
in remote mode (HSPDA), refresh don’t work I think that application can’t connect to my vera device, but it was working with playstore application (not beta version)
Not quite sure how to test this without access to your system. Did it ever work for you on the beta before? Did you change your camera’s password recently? Can you send me logs so I can take a look? You can use aLogcat for this.

Are all your settings correct? I usually get that error in development when my settings reset.
A clear, uninstall, reinstall and configure resulted in the same issue. I admit, I have not been able to sit down for a few days to verify the Vera via Web browser, so will do more of a regression type evaluation next.
For my problem concerning connection with HSDPA network, I gives you logs. It seems that HomeBuddy try to connect to vera throught local IP address and not with mios website.
For IP camera trhought wifi, I also gives you logs (I change login and password by xxxxxxxx)

Does streaming work for you in Vera’s UI? What camera do you have? Could you send me your user data?
Just a little question:
Is there already a Dutch translation of HomeBuddy? Of not, would you appreciate one?
Not right now, but I would appreciate any help to have it translated to Dutch. If you’re volunteering and have a google account, please email me at homebuddy.android@gmail.com and I will share the Google Docs spreadsheet that I use for all the translations. Thanks!
Sincere apologies are in order. Seems that my Vera 2 had crashed at some point after the UI 5 upgrade. Please disregard my posts regarding Home Buddy no longer being able to communicate with Vera.

UI5 has a section called Alerts. Have you thought about adding support for listing the Alerts in Home Buddy? It would also be possible to extend this to trigger Android notifications.
Lastly, the UI5 icons are looking good. One thing I continue to struggle with is the lock / unlock icon. I “wish” that the lock icon showed some green on it and the unlock icon showed some red on it. Or just some red on the unlock. This way, it has greater visual distinction on the small Android screen.

Alerts are on the list for a future release.
I had the same thought about making the lock status more apparent, though I was thinking of a more generic approach like a red/green circle on the lower right of the device icon – similar to the virtual switch plugin’s icon. Let me see what I can do.

The lock status using a color in any visually aesthetic fashion would be a great tweak. Visuals like this make app use super efficient. “Game like” apps always win. Many thanks for considering this.
I’m noticing some strange behavior today. Mios has been having server problems, but yet when on the home network, auto local vs. remote is acting up. The L shows and then when I close and reopen, neither the L or R display. Shouldn’t the SSID check be the very first step, followed the local IP check, and only when the phone is not on the configured SSID, even attempt a Mios connection? Also, I think that the above logic should be rerun for every communications event. If the wifi drops or vice versa, the logic will ensure the optimal comm for the given situation.
Edit: power cycled Vera again. Seems all set now. UI5 seems to be an issue.
A couple of days ago 0.28 beta started giving me a force close every time I tried to launch it. I tried reinstalling overtop of the existing install but it then complained that it the refresh failed, please check settings (all the settings seemed to be okay). Finally I uninstalled and reinstalled from scratch and that fixed it.
Would you consider making an option available to choose which action bar item the application should open to on launch? The previous versions used Scenes as the default view and I have become accustomed to using Scenes over device controls. If I don’t have a scene available for a device, I then go to the specific device to make changes! Now this version defaults to the Devices view instead of Scenes!
Great app and thanks for all of your hard work and dedication!
If I go to the setup for Home Buddy (the 3 piece vertical bar at the top right) under the 3rd menu entry (Setup), the 5th option is ‘Default Tab’ and allows you to do exactly what you are requesting.
