Aeotec Multisensor 6 (AEZW100A) - anyone used it?

Tripped state duration: it seems to be parameter 3, which defaults to 4 minutes but for some reason is not 4 minutes on your device - check out this list of parameters:

Only working for UI7 (starting at beta 1.7.707) but not UI5? Or has someone figured out how to get UI5 working?

Still working fine for me on UI5. Have it in my garage and works as expected.

I have a couple of posts a few pages back
I’m trying to get this sensor working with my VeraEdge on 1.7.541. It appears to report everything correctly. However, the motion tripped status immediately untrips. Never stays in the tripped state for more than a split second. Anyone know why? I followed the steps from post #171 when configuring the sensor.

Thanks.
I had the same issue with both of my Multisensor 6 sensors after upgrading to the 7.0.12 beta. I reverted to 7.0.11 and it’s resolved again.
I’ve reported this to beta support.

I already had parameter 3 set to 30. I’ve just upgraded my VeraEdge via the UI and now it appears to be working okay.

Thanks for the link. Was looking for how to calibrate the temperature reading and didn’t find anything until I looked at your link. My temperature sensor is 3C too high. But the UI won’t let me enter a negative number. Anyone have a suggestion?

Has anyone been paying attention to their device battery level indicator? I had six sensors up and running since this summer and they all show a green 100%, I would have expected some variation between sensors due to frequency of trips. Mike

Bump

I followed all the instructions: http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php/topic,32132.msg253831.html#msg253831

For one of the two sensors I have the following message: Can’t Detect Device

6in1 MULTISENSOR yet both are within a foot of each other.

I included a screenshot.

Mine shows that when it’s asleep. What happens if you plug it in with the USB cable or hold the button to wake it up?

A LED “yellow” flash for a few seconds, the pace picked up and after the LED has gone off.
The error message has disappeared from the screen.
I would like to understand what I did. What 6in1 wake him?

I also have this variable. I try to understand what it is for.
_GET_LANG (Generic_sensor, sensor)
Do I have to adjust param?tres: device_type, device_file and device_json?

I notice that the time between reads data on humidity, temperature and light is very long.

How can I adjust this?

I adjusted the two variables as indicated above in the blog.

please excuse my newbie question but how do you change the wakeup interval and polling frequency? Veralite ui7

Wakeup interval: 240 Sec.
Polling frequency: 120 Sec.

I don’t think the batteries will last long with these settings, but I will try that out later.

Mmm. The Aeon website says:

Simply connect it to your home?s electricity using the provided USB cable and MultiSensor 6 will be able to run in an advanced mode, providing temperature, humidity and light readings in real-time.

But with my Vera Lite is was certainly not real-time :)
I made a quick screen cast of pairing a multi sensor 6 with vera lite UI7. feel free to share it when needed. Hope it helps someone.

You are using scene name “OS restart”.

It contains what commands?

Thank you! share.

I’m using veraedge with version 1.7.1419 and while following the steps on http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php/topic,32132.msg253831.html#msg253831 all what I get is a permanent purging associations on the motion sensor and “Device not responding” messages.

Bought one. Lets see if I can make it work.

It has been a while since i added it but from what I can tell It is a very simple manually triggered scene that runs a lua code

os.execute( ‘reboot’ )

This is because in post #171, he sets parameter 4 [2 byte dec] to 5, this sets the Multisensor 6’s motion sensor to finish its timeout within 5 seconds which will revert the motion sensor back to an untriggered state within that 5 seconds.

I finally see the UV sensor is showing with an icon, but not reporting values. Anyone else see this yet? This is on firmware 1.7.1569 on a Vera Edge.
