I have the same problems as others getting to my Vera2, but when I finally can get access remotely, all things I try to access send “transmet failed code 1”. So, I have lost contact with all my locks, etc. at my vacation home. Anybody have this same problem?

I have as well but I’m waiting on the database fix to be completed (I’m sure MCV will let us know when that happens ;D) before I get too panicked.
Mine started giving this problem today. This is the 3rd time this has happened. The other 2 times I have had to exclude and then reinclude all the z wave devices, destroying a good part of the day doing it. I am getting fed up with this.
Did a restore including the z wave dongle (vera2 zwave chip I guess). That fixed it. I guess the zwave chip programming must be getting corrupted somehow?
How do you do a restore?.
If you have a backup, you can restore it under [tt]Advanced > Backup > Restore[/tt].
I had to check the box above “Choose file” that says Restore Dongle Firmware (with some warning message that it is not recommended). Mios should automatically backup your system every night I believe, you just need to select the last backup file you know is working. That is under Mios Systems>backups (before you enter the dashboard)
Been two weeks and it still does not work. It worked fine until the server problems. I suppose I will return it and find a more reliable service. Any suggestions?.

But local access works?
No local access.I can to the dashboard screen, click dashboard and it wants to load but just hangs on “loading data in progress” and “server busy” in the top right of the screen…
Just started happening to mine too! All z-wave transmission completely died. I thought I was the only one…
Just so you all know, the total loss of the zwave function was/is inherent in the vera zwave solution. I have had mine for about 1.5 years and roughly every six months the entire zwave network with approximately 10 devices stops completely. Ive just resigned myself that every six months i have to rebuild it. At least until mcv shutsdown the server for my vera1 that runs an earlier version of mios with local control.
Have you tried a factory reset? (Press the unmarked black button on the back of Vera twice, rapidly. This should reset everything, except the Z-Wave information.)
