How do I upgrade from UI4 1.1.1245 to UI4 : 1.1.1338
When I go to Advanced > Firmware, it shows
“Testing connection to: download2.mios.com … OK
You are running the latest version: 1.1.1245”
Thanks

The truth is 1245 was the last stable release and though 1338 had some fixes there was at least one regression being reported that I have not tested myself re proper fan mode display on schlage thermostat, my system has been so stable with 1245 I’ve had no desire to load 1338. MCV has also promised one more UI4 release to add all known fixes but I fear this may be on the back burner due to trying to address UI5 problems, I hope this does not get forgotten
Thanks a lot.
My system is also very stable but I didn’t want to be left behind. At present I have no intention of moving to UI5
my best recomendation is “if it aint broke dont fix it” the only way i will upgrade is when I need some function that has been added to a newer release
goto http://micasaverde.com/vera2 should take you to Firmware 1.1.1362
"if it aint broke dont fix it"
Or as us engineers like to say: Never touch a running system. ;D
Does anyone know if 1.1.1362 is stable? I’m on a beta release 1.1.1355 they gave me to fix a problem and it has been pretty stable, but I don’t know anything about the release I’m on since no one talks about it.
What is 1.1.1362 supposed to fix/improve?
Yes, it is stable. It has been around since December. No details or what changes were implemented.
Can also vouch for 1.1.1362 although it personally does not give me any advantage over 1.1.1245.
I echo the sentiment regarding UI5. I will not be going there any time soon.
1.1.1362 broke the uploading of Lua files as uncompressed files and added support for AU Z-Wave. Uploading of Lua files as uncompressed files has been fixed in 1.1.1365.
How do I get 1.1.1365? The upgrade tab wants to take me to UI5, not this update.
That version hasn’t been tested enough and it’s not even a private beta. It has been created on 26 January, but we concentrated on the new UI5 firmware and neglected that firmware.
If you don’t have any problems with the firmware you have I don’t recommend upgrading yet.
Help! I just took my Vera2 out of the box a few days ago, hooked it up, accepted the upgrade to 1.1.1362, and have been struggling for the past two days to try and create some virtual devices. From these few posts, it appears that 1.1.1362 had a problem with uploading LUA files. Is it possible that the device and implementation .XML files I’ve been uploading to create these virtual devices are corrupted, and that’s why my virtual devices are not being properly created?
