You should know that i damage my vera edge unit while trying to downgrade to this version UI7 7.0.10 : https://download1204.mios.com/rl/710/mt7620a_Luup_ui7-1.7.1320-en-mios.squashfs . So do not use this firmware if you unit warranty is out of date.
Can I use the VERA Edge Links on the VERA PLUS?
No.
If you need some specific version of firmware, try contacting customer care. As I briefly see, the links here are pretty old and direct you to outdated firmware versions.

Btw, I am having trouble doing the vera plus downgrade using the links posted, but it does not work, it keeps reverting back to the firmware that the vera originally came with. I tried 3 different firmwares and nothing worked. I created a separate post to discuss this issue if any can please help out. Thank you.
