So with UI7 being so hit and miss, I think it would be good to have a list of the custom urls for each firmware version. I’m sick of calling vera to downgrade. These all should be compatible with VeraLite and Vera3. If you see anything wrong, please let me know. I’ll do my best to consolidate all links that are posted in this thread into the first post. Thanks all that contribute links.
Adding another one for Vera Edge. This is Version 7.0.5 (1.7.541/1.7.1018) Mar. 9, 2015 release that should NOT have Monoprice motion and door sensors “always tripped” issue. This is the version previous to the last two updates.

Just make sure they get better before you install or you could have a brick on your hands. VERA doesn’t post all these links in fear people will install the wrong one and end up with more problems then they already do.
Problem with this version is that you cannot change the device options on the sensors. They never save. I will upgrade, make configuration changes and then downgrade again lol…
I can speak for the VeraLite and I think the GUI is the same. Go to Settings → Firmware. Then on that page you’ll see a box for “URL for Vera Custom Firmware”. Paste the link you see here into that box and press download. Follow the steps on the next page (always create a back up when asked if you want to). You should be good to go.

Make sure you “DO NOT PRESERVE SETTINGS”. If you do you may brick the device.
Of course make sure you have a backup available to restore from prior to the latest firmware update.[/quote]Really? I have always preserved settings and never had any issues. I have done that on Vera Edge many times now and also on Vera Light that I had before. I am not sure why preserving settings would brick the device… but if there were reports of that happening, I guess that’s the way to do it. I never had any issues though.

I was thinking the same thing. I’ve only downgraded two or three times but always preserved settings. Maybe someone more knowledgeable than me can shed some light on the issue?
I’ve heard people say that the “back up” will restore the firmware. I called vera and they thought it would also but when I upgraded to 7.0.7, I tried to restore my back up (7.0.5) and it would not roll back the firmware. So I had to have vera support do it from their side. That was the phone call that inspired this thread because I was on hold for 25 minutes. I’ve also read that there is an internal flag on the device that vera has to set in order to roll back.
