I recently upgraded my vacation home from UI4 to UI5. I upgraded because I heard there were improvements to the thermostat controls. Everything seemed to work fine when I completed the upgrade. However, when i was at the house this past weekend, I found out that when I tried to switch from ENERGY to NORMAL, the GUI showed the Green “transmit was OK" but the temperature did not change. When I checked the Trane unit, it was still in Energy mode. I manually set the unit to Run (normal) and could switch to ENERGY from the GUI but not the other way. In other words, the NORMAL button doesn’t work. I tried unplugging the router, Vera 2 and the Trane unit but still no change. Does anyone have a fix?
And this is the reason why I have not upgraded.

Thanks oti@. I guess I roll back to UI4 until(?) they get this fixed. Of course I just tried to pull up my page and it won’t load… Gotta love this Mios!! I don’t know if I’m having more fun with Mios or trying to get my netTalk voip to work correctly! :-\
Oh Crap! Which I had read this before I just ran the UI4 to UI5 update. 
Although UI4 has issues with my Trane as well. Manually setting temps is OK, using a scene with a timer so I can seyt Day and Night temps seems to screw the temps up. I tell it to send Heat 65 and Cool 77 and the Trane gest set to Heat 69 and Cool 66. Guess I have to manually program it…
Has this issue been resolved in the latest firmware - 1.5.408?
I upgraded today and the Energy and Normal buttons now work!!
