@TimAlls, thanxs for the comeback… understand your responses, as to the Thermostat, I like… need to change the switch icon, looks like a rocker switch but acts like a radio button to allow one to update values. Also can I change thermostat.jpg to my 3-Gig thermostat faceplate? :

The information is all in the UserData output but I don’t know how one could translate it into a simple statement like you asked for…EG all the Luup code is there but no way to extract a descriptive sentence…
Here is the latest with all the bugs reported so far fixed except for naming control pads within the pad.
I have the new flashing read light …heartbeat feauture with error detection
Variable number of Thermostats
New Analog trend charts for all devices…record up to 5,000 points or events
New Digital trend chart for all devices…translate dimmers into on off as well
both charts have drop down device selection with stacked and overlay modes
Time stamps all 5,000 points

I agree with @ballroller, would love to have the capability of viewing all of my scene code. 1stly because being able to archive/retrieve scene(s) data if something catastrophic would ever happen (Murphy s law), the other is that I would like to be able to cut/paste working code from one scene to another kind of like having a library of LUA code. Today I cut/past examples in a word document with some leading information.

Suggestion though......if some variables were added to Vera one could keep those unique description stored there so they could be parsed.....also try adding the description at the beginning of the code.....that could be extracted as well.
Warning…scaling bug in 1.011…don’t run in maximized mode…I fixed it but can’t post until later tonight.
My observations on the new trend charts:
I need the settings to be saved on the charts as well…I think everything should be saved on exit.
I need lines between the stacked charts and to delete the Y Scale when stacked
Let me know what else you find.
I am running it on the touchscreen computer today and I see it need tweaking to make it work properly…EG the dimmer popup is annoying

@TimAlls, something is wrong with the digital report function, all I can see is your Salon devices, even when I try to select drop down.
Observations:
- What is the first column of the raw data tab
- Variable Watch tab, XML return needs a slider bar. Why in the variable window is column 6 labeled as password?
- Controls tab, Dimmer, the up/down switch (small) doesn’t change values also the slide bar when you attempt to drag it, it moves but snaps back to previous value, only when the pop-up is selected you can can value, not very intuitive, if it switch and slider is to mimic the values then don’t allow user interaction, only on the pop-up
- Device tabs, would be nice to see device status and battery status, its in the raw data

Complete overhaul on the dimmers to make them touchscreen friendly…no popups, just slide!
Easy “Control Pad” setup…Names, Dimmers, Switches, and Scenes all setup and saved in same Tab
Screen Resolution stretching…allows the window to be stretched in higher resolution
Introduced the Security Readout panel…for me it is the DSC window and door zones.
Bugs? let me know …I think we are close.
The code generator is officially out of this version…
I think it is too complex to have it here…it will be a standalone application when this one is finished and documented
By the way, I am using this program as a guide and developing a Universal Engine Monitor.
Beta testers will have to have an electronic diesel engine and a J1939 ModBus adapter…It will have all the features used in the Boeing 747 Engine Instrumentation Display!

It’s looking good. One more request- can you allow us to click on the top of a column to re-order the data in that spreadsheet? I would like to order by node number or ID number to help find the switches easier. For those of us with a lot of switches, this would be huge.
I will take a look…I have the code for it, just need to look at how to implement.
I think you will find the charting tools helpful if you are using timers and special luup code.

General remark, most functionality bigs seem to be solved.
There are some inconsistencies on viewing tabs and control tabs
Also some views are “out of sync/range”
Il try to do a categorized overview below:
----Charts—
Digital charts:
- settings are not saved
- Chart help is empty field
Analog charts
- settings are not saved
- various buttons and associated borders are not aligned
- scroll and graph buttons write through chart descriptions
----Controls----
- Setup control tab text runs out of assigned field size
- no setup on/off option for thermostats (compare dim/switch tab)
- Security sensor shows green OK button (whats the function, my sensor has setting bypassed atm)
- clicking the same button changes nothing
- when scenes are added/removed, saved settings do not persist
----Devices----
- raw data tab has no header row describing the colums value

Thermostat setup coming on next update. Security, I will allow it to be turned off on next release. It is a great visual for those of us monitoring doors and window, it has nothing to do with arm, disarm, bypass. It just reports the current status, Open or Closed. From a security standpoint this is wonderful to have at a glance. When you are getting ready to leave home you know instantly to close the window upstairs....or whatever. It also records the information....
EG I wish I had this when my kids were teens…I would have know they were slipping in and out through the window late at night!

----Devices---- - raw data tab has no header row describing the colums valueI call it raw data because it is not formatted....it's just the way Vera reports it. As such Vera mixes up all the columns just for the fun of it, so I can't add Headings. It is a good tool to pick out information not seen in the organized table.
For those of you with dimmers give me feedback…I just reworked them for my touchscreen. That part of the system has to make sense to the wife and kids!

In fact column 2 could be used as a header for 3, 4 as header for 5, 6 as header for 7, 8 as header for 1 and 9
and 10 as header for 11. Lastly column 12 could act as header for 13, after that input becomes more random but still reflect “luup variables”

Perhaps I need to rethink the way it displays ZWave motion detectors and similar type devices.

That is really the purpose of the second device list....to sort it all out. I will give it some thought....there might be a better way.

I have a variable changing routine already written…I will try hiding and unhiding a scene ans see what happens.
Here is 1.016 that has your bugs fixed…scaling is off, so see if that takes care of it.

On the thermo’s, set cool is not working. Doesn’t seem to do anything. Nor do the fan settings.
You may have told me but what is the brand/model of the thermostats. It is strange that some of the functions work. I need to make sure the commands are the same for all brands…MCV was very consistent on dimmers and switches to use the same commands no matter what the brand was…I hope this one is the same.
How do your dimmers work…they have been overhauled!
