I’d really like to setup a touchscreen controller bedside for my Z-wave network and, ideally, other stuff like my Sonos system, etc. Right now, I have an Evolve LCD controller bedside for z-wave along with my Sonos CR-200 controller…a lot of clutter, and still very limited with only 5 buttons available to me on the Evolve. I realize I could get an iPad mini or some other full-blown tablet and use SQRemote or something like that. Before I did that, though, I was curious what others may have done at possibly a lower cost. Buying an iPad mini solely for this purpose seems like an expensive option (but may end up being the best option, I’m not sure). Would appreciate any suggestions from the community.

Get a cheap android tablet and install the superb app called:
AutHomation/AutHomationHD version 2.1 on it.
Or install a app suitable for your smartphone (if something else than Android).
