Hi,

You can also add the following devices:

I have 2 x first, 1 x second and are working just fine.

Cheers, L

Thanks everyone.

List updated

I have two NYCE (NCZ-3010) Hinge Door sensors working flawlessly with VeraPlus UI7.

Added, Thank you.

Please also add: Zooz ZEN20 Z-Wave PLUS Smart Energy Power Strip

Thanks,added

John, please add Black Cat LED Dimmer (AU) ZWBCLD1 to the list.

I want to comment that not all GE/JASCO switches work properly. Unless all functionality works it cannot be added to the list. there are dimmers that have 2 problems. when Vera heals the network it causes the lights to flash. and you are also not able to set the z wave ramping properties. These problems occur only when connected to a Vera I have tested it with 2 other z wave controllers and these problems do not occur.

Hi,

Just added a couple of NEO Coolcam devices. Their power plugs (PN E-P16-A02-301) work, but when including them you must select the Generic Z-Wave device, do the inclusion as instructed (click button 3 times) and wait for the 60 second time to expire. Then pull the plug out of the socket, put it back in and the inclusion process will continue. Bit odd, but was the case with all three I added. All reporting etc seems to work nicely, even voltage and amps.

Their flood sensor (PN: E-D01-A4-310) got included as a generic IO device so I had to change the attributes. Category = 4, device_file D_FloodSensor1.xml, device_json D_FloodSensor1.json. Now it all works as it should.

Cheers Rene

Thank you for your contribution, Reneboer.

In my case it just got included without any tricks needed (EU version).
Have about 6 different units around the house

What about devices which are known to work (they are on the list of pre-defined devices during pairing), but arenā€™t mentioned in compatibility list on the website?

Like Fibaro Smoke sensor, Door Sensor (1), Universal Binary sensorā€¦

Most of them works great (everything tested in EU version, most devices from my list are in everyday use, but some tests have not been very long till now).

door/window sensor:

Sensative Strips Guard (model Strips Ma-Zw)
works good

Schweiger ZHS09 Door/Window Sensor (probably branded Vision ZD2102)
works good, I can reccomend it for use with 2,3,4-leaf window (supports external passive sensors)

Zipato vs-zd2102.eu (probably branded Vision ZD2102)
works good, I can reccomend it for use with 2,3,4-leaf window (supports external passive sensors)

Fibaro FGK-10x (it means models from FGK-101 to FGK-107 - they differ only by casing colors)
works good, can be used also with external temperature sensor DS18B20 (or as 1-in binary sensor but it canā€™t be used as dooor/window sensor in this config)

Aeotec ZW112 Door/Window Sensor 6 *
works good

door sensor:

Aeotec ZW089 Recessed Door Sensor Gen5*
works good, but hard to mount (fitting only specific door frame)

smart plug on/off:

NEO Coolcam NAS-WR01Z Power plug
works good

Aeotec ZW096 Smart Switch 6 *
works great

Fibaro FGWPE/F-102 ZW5
works great

smart plug dimmer:

Aeotec ZW099 Smart Dimmer 6 *
works great, but the only device I had, was selfdamaged after only half a year of use

LED RGBW bulbs:

Aeotec ZW098 LED Bulb Gen5 *
works good, but I do NOT reccomend this, because of an unpleasant shade of white light

LED white bulbs (on/off/dim):

Domitech ZE27EU *
works great, best shade of warm white (2700K)

multisensors:

Vision ZP3102eu-5 Security PIR Motion Sensor Gen5 (PIR+temp) *
works good, but temp is inaccurate (Ā±2 degrees C)

Aeon Labs ZW100 MultiSensor 6 (PIR+temp+humidity+light+UV+tamper) *
works great

Aeon Labs ZW074 MultiSensor Gen5 (PIR+temp+humidity+light) *
works good, but I do NOT reccomend this, this is obsolete product (powered by AAA batteries and drains them quick!)

remote controllers:

Nodon CRC-3-1-0x Octan Remote 4-key
works good

Nodon CRC-3-6-0x remote 4-key
works good

Nodon CWS-3-1-0x wall switch (remote) 4-key
works good

x - at Nodon means color of casing, 1=white

siren:

Popp POPE005107 External solar siren
works good, but needs to be exposed to Sun one day before installation or some days if they are cloudy (and has errors in manual, but real life installation is easier then described)

smoke sensor:

Popp POPE004001 Smoke sensor with siren
works good

water leak sensor:

Everspring ST812 Flood Sensor
works good, but I do NOT reccomend this, this is obsolete product (powered by AA cells)

RFID:

Zipato wt-rfid.eu Mini RFiD Keypad
works good, but I do NOT reccomend this, because of VERY high battery drain (and powered by AA batteries)

to be continuedā€¦ (I will add much more devices to this list, when I will have more time)

I havenā€™t check compatibility list a long time, soā€¦
There are some of devices which should be supported (in spite of I/others would or wouldnā€™n reccomend them because of other reasons), so there should be second list of devices, where Vera support could reply: ā€œthis device will not be supportedā€=ā€œdonā€™t buy itā€ or ā€œwe have this device in our future support plansā€

short list of devices NOT working/working partially (some of them just need working template) - this list may not be actual (Iā€™m copying this from my notes)

 • D-Link DCH-Z510
 • NEO Coolcam NAS-PD01Z PIR/light sensor
 • NEO Coolcam NAS-PD02Z PIR/light sensor
 • NEO Coolcam NAS-DS01Z door/window sensor
 • NEO Coolcam NAS-WS01Z Water Sensor
 • Fibaro Swipe
 • Danfoss LC-13
 • Eurotronic Comet Z
 • Popp POPE005206 Z-weather (this is probably the only weather station with z-wave?)
 • Popp POPE700168 pluviometer (as above)
 • Zipato BULB2 (model: rgb2) this could be great - best shade of warm white (2700K), but out of the box works only as ā€œon/off/dimā€

And last thougt: about non-z-wave devices - last (december 2017) situation with plugins supporting ie. TP-Link, Yeelight or Broadlink devices shows me that I can NOT rely on external plugins?
Iā€™ve bought some of that devices when I saw working plugins, but now Iā€™m alone with working stuff which could not be integrated with Vera (Iā€™m not programmerā€¦)

In my case it just got included without any tricks needed (EU version).
Have about 6 different units around the house
I found that I was not clicking the button fast enough to include. You really need to click three times fast.
However, by now I have blew out three of these. They do not seem to like being on the same line as TL lights. When without a load and you turn of the TL lights they may blow and take the fuses out too. So I will not buy them anymore.

Cheers Rene

What are TL lights?
I didnā€™t encounter such problems having various equipment connected to the plug (heater, led lamps, impulse charger, etc.)
However, some of the devices were stuck shortly after installing (no connection to the controller, red light on the unit). Unpluging and pluging again into the socked solved the problem and from that time no problems here (the oldest one has about 1 year)

What are TL lights?
TL lighting is fluorescent tube lighting as used in offices or a garage in my case.

Cheers Rene

thermostat Popp POPE010101 (=danfoss with actual temperature display)
->inclusion as generic zwave device, no problem since 2 y
!! poll interval has to be set to 0 (otherwise every 2nd wakeup fails)

universal sensor Fibaro FGBS321
->inclusion as generic zwave device, no problem since 2 y

wall plug switch Popp POPE009006
->inclusion as generic zwave device, no problem since 1 y (but no inductive workload allowed)

wall dual relay Philio PAN06-1B and PAN06-1B (inductive workload works)
ā†’ inclusion as generic zwave device, no problem since 2 y
!! factory reset only successfull without switch workload

Has anynone tested the Philo Smart Dimmer Socket PAD02 ?

Devolo wall switch/controller (clone of the POPP 009303 wall controller)
Works fine with 4 buttons (short press), didnā€™t manage it to respond to double or long press.

Should be similar for the keyfob (also a clone of POPP device)
