It looks like the 53.00 and 51.00 is the humidity percentage and the number that’s cut off is the the set point temp and the number behind Set is the actual room temp?
It’s like they don’t have nest thermostats to test with.
The Android version’s dashboard still looks the same as in the web interface. With all the imperfections:
Texts are covered
Thermostats are unfavorable in terms of color, at 0% battery the symbol disappears
If a device is unreachable, it is marked differently for each device. A more consistent approach would be to simply gray out the device instead of using “unreachable” at the top/bottom/left/right or instead of the device name.
But we’re getting a bit off topic. I think I need to ask about this somewhere else…
Has anyone been able to do anything with geo-fencing? Unfortunately, I can’t test it with Android devices.
The devs are aware of the Thermostat thing and will round / format the values down.
Yeah the Android app still has the “old” Dynamic Dashboard like the web UI.
I am trying to find out what their plans are for the dashboard in the Android app?
I am also asking if they can improve this new Native Dashboard in the iOS app and add some kind of menu system and sorting / filtering / grouping / search etc.
If we could sort by rooms and or device types that would be a start.
Just one massive dashboard page with 100s of tiles on it, is no use to me.
Drilling into the device they still do not display when they are in eco mode and when the thermostat is in eco it displays the incorrect setpoint temp.
The NLT pro does not show the heat/cool mode either.
If you click on the tile on the dashboard the graphic is drastically different than what show in devices. Why can they be the same and not so drastically different?
It seems we should move the thermostat stuff to a separate topic.
I guess this is a beta test release.
This device being sold as a production unit, it seems more like it’s still under development.
Well I still have the set temp displaying out to probably 15 decimal places and the statuses aren’t correct. Thermostat is off and is show cool and the cool setpoint.
Isn’t this supposed to be released product. You’d think by the marketing it is. Elevate your smart home experience? Hasn’t elevated mine.
I am going to create a ticket about this problem and send it to the iOS team.
And yes the “Dynamic Dashboard” in the web UI and this new looking dashboard in the iOS Mios app, they are calling “Native Dashboard” appear to be now two different things.
Not sure if the Dynamic Dashboard in the web UI is also going to change and be replaced?
And the beta test version I have installed of the Android Mios app has niether dashboards and now looks to have gone back to a very old looking Vera app style “dashboard” where you can just add favourite devices and scenes to it.
So not sure whats going on? I have 3 different looking dashboards now, web UI vs iOS vs Android.
To me they’ve lost credibility and user confidence.
If they’re going back to a Vera style dashboard why not fix the things that were promised in the Vera platform and firmware that was never released.
