Well, we’re a bit ahead of schedule but… ImperiHome 2.0 is now available on the Play Store ![]()
As announced earlier : the 2 main things are dashboards and a Pro version.
Do not hesitate to give us feedback whether you like it or not !
Love the new app! I’m still trying all the features so I’ll be sure to leave more feedback later also.
I have only run into one issue so far. All my lock statuses show as the opposite of what their actual state is (locked or unlocked). See my screenshots below, the first shows the garage door as unlocked per the icon but door is actually closed. Also it shows my kitchen door as locked but it is really unlocked.

This second picture shows that the icon statuses changed when I actually opened the garage door but the status is still backwards.

Evidently images through the Tapatalk program don’t show up. Lets see if I can attach them to this post.
I LOVE this update! I immediately purchased the
Pro version. Great work!
this really is getting most value out of my wall mounted tablet in the kitchen.
I have some troubles with the cameras. I can watch the stream in the smaller layouts but fullscreen does not work. Maybe in future you could intergrate IP (url) cam viewing by bypassing Vera, but that is only a small suggestion. **EDIT: in the mean time i solved this by selecting a different IP cam app in Vera, all works now ***
I like the integration with other apps and websites. Very userfriendly app.
Keep on upgrading ;D
Defenetly time to go Pro.
I realy love the dashbords! I guess dimmer functionality is not yet supported o maybe I have just not figured out how. Allso I thought I saw a screenshot of a dashbord showing a graph in one widget, is this posible or stil under work?
Improvement proposal:
I would realy love a widget where I could collect a few on/off signals just to monitor the status of them like alarms.
Or a collection of environment variables (temperature, humidity or other measurements.
Best regards,
Tomas
After playing for a while, one thing I miss is my thermostat control. I am using the Nest plugin but it shows as a standard thermostat in the other apps I have tried. Any plans to support these in the near future?
I would even be happy with just being able to view my in-house temp from my thermostat on my dashboard, then having to go to list view to adjust settings if need be.
You’re right : we do not support the Nest plugin yet but it is in our TODO list.
We do not own one but we’ll see if there is a way of “emulating” without actually having the hardware.
Great ![]()
We support dimmers on the dashboards : when you add a dashboard widget, then select a dimmer device, you’ll have the choice between 3 widgets : the first and second are on/off; but the 3rd one is a dimmer one => is this what you are looking for ?
Yeah, when you have a sensor device that has datamine graphs associated to it, you can ‘swipe up/down’ directly on its dashboard widget : the widget will flip and you’ll see the graph.

We currently have what we called ‘composite widgets’. Currently there are only 2 of them : a security composite (aggregates multiple security sensors in one), and a composite switch (controls multiple switches).
We have some more in mind for the future, and then environment composite is one of them ![]()
Best,
Thibault.

Good to know that you solved your IP cam issue. In case you want to configure ip cams separately from your vera config, you can add them directly in imperihome, selecting the “MJPEG IP Camera” system; then you’ll be asked to manually enter your cam’s URLs.
Hope this helps,
Best,
Thibault.
Hi Thibault
I looked all over the place, but where do i find the option to manually integrate IP cams?
I can not find it in the menu and can not find it when inserting items on the dashboard.
Hope you can help (must be something simple :o)
Thanks I found it now.
Ah, thats greate thanks.

Thanks, I have played with the composite widgets and are looking forward to seeing more of them in the future.

The dashboard is excellent. Purchased the Pro version just for that reason.
Few suggestions for further enhancements.
Also, I noticed once I remove an item from a tile, I can’t assign another one to the same tile until I exist the application and start again. This happens most of the time but not 100% of times.
Keep up the good work.

Hey, In fact you add IP Cams as a standalone system in IH : you add each camera just the same way you have added your vera system, but instead of selecting Vera, you select MJPEG IP Camera. Then you have to enter the right URLs. We have a little guide for that in our knowledge base : https://imperihome.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/200732717-How-to-configure-my-IP-Camera-

Agreed, few of the suggestions may be technically challenging but if possible would give the application much more power. I plan to hang few tablets on the walls around the house. Basically I want to be able control everything from one screen. For example, one of the tile could have all the controls for xbmc (ie. widget from Yatse app) another widget may be running slideshow of pictures. Basically, I’m looking for maximum control from one page. This is important for WAF factor.
I think your application/approach has great potential.
it will be great if you add option to lunch tasker task and also will be cool if you can add color wheel for fibaro RGBW
Hello,
Thanks for a great looking app. I run the pro version and like it.
Also like the update of today (5th nov), I’m now able to add two Composite in one Dashboard.
However, I do have some requests:
Thanks,
/J
Thanks for 2.0 Pro folks! With the subsequent updates to 2.0.3, the dashboard feature is very usable now.
Suggestions for configurable items:
When rotating orientation, keep the top-left, the top-left corner (like is done for some layout with dissimilar sized widgets), i.e. the top row becomes the left column.
A dimmer and switch widget that look exactly the same, except the dimmer slider, i.e. same size bulb, on/off switch in same position.
Same font size for all (sensor) widgets. (E.g., I have 3 temp / humi / lumi sensor widgets next to each other, the font size ends up different for all three.
The bulb icon in the composite widget could be moved up a bit / be centered more?
The menu icon to [tt]configure[/tt] dashboards appears whiter and bigger than the others, making it very prominent and could be moved to the right, perhaps between [tt]reload[/tt] and [tt]settings[/tt]. As contrasted to the [tt]go-to[/tt] menu icon, which I think is more important, and I personally use all the time in both dashboard and list view.
Perhaps a layout with more than 12 widgets.
(- As mentioned already: drag-to-move feature for easy re-arranging.)
