I too am having a similar problem that resq93 was having. Whenever i activate a scene or a device (lights and door locks), it properly executes the command, but doesn’t refresh the status of the device. I get the following error: “ERROR: Refresh failed. Please check your settings. (java.lang.NullPointerException)”

Your database may have gotten into an inconsistent state. This is tough to reproduce, but I’ll continue to look into it. In the meantime, try doing a Full Refresh. More details on my troubleshooting page:
Note that the setup procedure has changed. Please follow the instructions in the first section of my troubleshooting page:
Rakstar,
First I wanted to say, great job with the HomeBuddy app. However, I updated to version 0.28 today and I’m getting that error “ERROR: Refresh failed. Please check your settings. (java.lang.NullPointerException)” whenever I try to do anything except a full refresh.
I tried clearing the Data for the app, I removed the app and re-installed it from Google Play, I tried setting it up locally and remotely, and I went through the page https://sites.google.com/site/rakstar/homebuddy/troubleshooting and followed the instructions on there. It still shows that error whenever I try to do something and won’t refresh the information until I do a full refresh. Did I miss something? If not, do you have version 0.27 somewhere as that one didn’t have the problem for me?
Also to let you know, I can see the still image of my Foscam Cameras, but clicking on them to stream them gets this error: “Unable to stream video (host name may not be null)”

Thanks for all the work still[/quote]
Sorry for the inconvenience. If you really want to downgrade, you can get 0.27 from SlideME. However, I would appreciate if you could help me fix this issue for everyone’s benefit. Could you send me your user data so I could diagnose? Please email me directly at homebuddy.android@gmail.com. Thanks.

I’ve updated Home Buddy on both phone (2.3.5) and tablet (4.0.3) and it’s working fine for me.
The VContainer devices are showing the right values as well.
