Frustrated too

Continuing the discussion from Frustrated beyond belief. EZLO plus:

I thought it best to replace my VeraPlus controller. Thought I could easily migrate to Ezlo, but at the time it was not possible. I thought “well if i have to exclude and re-install everything” I might as well shop for a completely new Z-Wave system. After some research I ended up with EzloPlus anyway.
I got it all done, set up some meshbots, added some new switches during a basement reno and litterally fight with the damb thing daily.
A simple thing like the foyer light going on when I unlock the front door and visa versa, works sparatically at best and sometimes not at all. In fact the device goes missing from my list of devices. It get it excluded and re-added manually using the old vera phone app, it then works for a day then not.
A reboot of the ezlo controller helps sometimes. and a few days later another meshbot stops working. IMHO the whole system is a joke!

We’ve checked your controller, and it’s running an outdated firmware version. We’ve flagged your controller for an update during the next power cycle. Could you please remove the power adapter and plug it back in? You will see the light flashing magenta during a couple of minutes.

We will be attentive to your results and comments.

It is in progress. Hopefully stability improves. Will let you know.

We are 2 days without a glitch. Could this firmware update have done the trick? I’m thinking so because while 2 days does not seem like a lot, things seem much more responsive and all meshbots are working.
Fingers crossed that I will humbly have to appologize for my negativity.

It’s been over a week without a hiccup. Let me be the first to appologize for my harsh comments. The system is working and I have confidence you folks can resolve any future issues should they occur.
