Whoa, we are beyond “remote control” we are talking “Automation”. He should be automatically locking them all already!
I am late to this conversation, but wanted to support the Schlage company for their superior customer support. I am sure others have had similar experience, but Schlage sent me two locks with updated firmware which have been working good with Vera 3 Lite. After reading this forum for a long time I have concluded that most devices will have problems of some sort or another and a good customer support is a big plus. Maybe the other lock companies have great support also, I don’t know. The good news is that is seems you have options that all work to some degree or other. By the way, I am not employed by Schlage, but was very impressed with their support.
