Aeotec MultiSensor 7 - Not working for me

Hi guys, I have a few Aeotec 6 Mutisensors a bunch of Trisensors 8… They both work great with Ezlo Plus.

I really like response time of TriSensor and it looks like Aeotec MultiSensor 7 is pretty good improvement over version 6 when it comes to response time. That said I am having really hard time make them work.

  1. Inclusion takes forever comparing to other devices. It gets to 50% and then it takes literally several minutes to finish inclusion.
  2. Once it gets included it usually works for a little bit and then it stops working. I have more than one device and they all behave in similar fashion.

I see Ezlo is selling them so I am assuming they are compatible with Ezlo Plus and should work. Is there anything special that needs to be done for them to work properly?

What is the model number for this device? Is it ZWA024?

@JonathanB Can we ask the device integration team about it ?

Yes, it is ZWA024. I’ve searched the forum and saw post from 2023 where someone was asking for integration. It’s flagship sensor from Aeotec. I figured maybe I need to take some extra steps to make them work.

I would think I am not the only one with these sensors.

Device Integration team says that particular device has not been tested. They have said they will obtain the device and any new Aeotec devices that they have not officially integrated and do so.

That would be great. It is really step up from Aeotec 6 multisensor when it comes to response time for motion detection. Huge for lighting control. It makes Z-wave use case so much better.

Is there any way to follow up on that or will the integration team provide some updates?

Just have to wait, I asked them to let us know when they receive the device(s) in their lab.

They said they have found that device, they already had it in one of their offices. They need to send it to another office however to a different location for a certain developer to look at and review.
