ZW089-A Recessed Door Sensor Gen5, Can't Detect Device

So I’m getting a “Can’t Detect Device” for the ZW089-A sensor. The odd thing is it seems to be working. I just went down to try it again, open the door, which trigger’d lights to turn on. I left the door open, and it is showing it is open in the UI.

So I’m curious why the my Vera Plus would say it can’t detect it when it’s changing the status in the UI and it’s catching events from it?

Mine behave the same way. From other threads on this board it appears to either be a UI7 or a Vera Plus bug, maybe both.

In the general forum there is a thread with “Can’t detect device” in the title that has more information, and some code that may make them appear normally for a while. Different users have had different levels of success with it though.
