I have set up a two ZRP200 and one ZDP200. Both devices are working with Vera. The three devices are shown with the yellow alert icon - not yet ready to be used - at the devices page. It seems that Vera is not able to read the manufactor here and marking them as not ready so. Anyway the devices are working very well it just seems to be some cosmetics here. I am using firmware 1.0.320.
Perhaps there is a way to hide this status for this devices?
Can you click the + button next to the device and copy/paste the block of information with the device’s capabilities? I want to see if it doesn’t support the manufacturer command class. I thought everything did.
It looks like this:
Capabilities 209,140,0,4,8,6|49,64,66,67,114,134,135,
Version 6,2,28,4,90
Model 5,17217,35072
Neighbors
Configured at 6-11-2008 16:33
So command classes: 37,39,117
COMMAND_CLASS_SWITCH_BINARY, COMMAND_CLASS_SWITCH_ALL, COMMAND_CLASS_PROTECTION
and 38 is: COMMAND_CLASS_SWITCH_MULTILEVEL
I guess it does not support the manufacturer command class. That’s weird, since that’s a really basic thing, to be able to get the manufacturer of the device. Adding a bug report to handle devices without manufacturer: http://bugs.micasaverde.com/view.php?id=336
I’m setting up using Full range ACT euro switches, so far in wall switches ZDP230, ZRM230 etc. seems to be ok, but these two still having the yellow ! mark, the controlling of these devices functioning ok on and off…, can micasa team update the manufacturer command class support.
I’m also wondering where to get the url for updated ver 1.0.371 or whichever latest version as mentioned in the forum?
yet to try the ZIR010 setting to integrate the event!
I just posted a new 404 firmware (see official announcements). Can you let me know if you still have the problem with those devices? They’re Euro models so it’s not so easy for us to test them here.
Not Euro specific, but same symptoms - I have a cheap Sylvania lamp plug-in module (US version), which also fails to configure with red “C”, as it does not report the manufacturer info:
Capabilities 201,4,0,3,17,0|38,39,117,
Version
Model
Just setup the whole network again now !, Although the yellow ! not appear for these switch( ACT euro module ZDP210 and ZRP210), but the “red c box” still shown that its not being configure well compare to others in wall switches (ZDW230, ZRW230, ZIR010 etc) which is in “green c box”. Anyway the module seems to be working ok when i try to switch it on/off from vera. Will the below capabilities# help?
ZDP210 (dimmable Lamp Module) - 201,4,0,3,17,0|38,39,117
ZRP210 (Appliances Module) - 201,4,0,3,16,0|37,39,117
Just wondering if its not configured {“green c box”} will it affect the scene and event setting while sometimes it will not switch on due to intermittent problems.
Another Finding is the setup for “scene and event”, When i try to add the second event into the same room, the first event’s command + seems to be hidden and can’t be edit.
I have setup 3 switches to trigger for a scene/event, when i press “go” button to check if the Switch work? It turns out only the first switch in the setting light on, the i go to Dashboard and click the scene, it works ok, all 3 switches lights on.
I have just reset the whole network again and trying others settings…
Hope to get some reply if anyone is doing the same… Thanks
