Z-Wave Repeater Question

I have a GE outdoor module that I am using for some Christmas lights. This module is quite a ways away from any other z-wave devices and the communication is intermittent. Instead of adding something like Aeon Labs repeater to bridge the distance could I simply use another GE outdoor module to fill the gap in the mesh?

The Aeon Labs repeater is just that, a repeater. If I can buy a device that can also serve as a switch I would prefer that.

Absolutely, you can. To me, the repeater makes little sense. I’d much rather have a functional device like the outdoor module, the appliance module, or even just another switch or receptacle.

Z-Waver, thanks for the confirmation.
