Z-Wave Fibaro Wall Plug / Power meter

a seller told me the vera lite does not support the Power Meter-features in the new Z-Wave Fibaro Wall Plug’s

is that still the case ? and is there anything planned to have this working any time soon ?

on a positive response i may buy alot more of them in the very near future.

I have a working module (FGWPF-101), power is reported correctly and you can turn it on and off, the led indication changes with the load. I am running the latest firmware 1.5.662.

oh that is great news, yes i did mean the FGWPF-101.

just ordered a vera lite from vesternet, can’t wait to get it “on”
gonna place a order for more of the plugs then.

just have to figure out how to get them sucessfully “converted” to the ugly Fake-US plugs arround here (Thailand)

just got one Wall Plug a couple of days ago ( EU type) and it works fine ( inclusion , ON , OFF) with my VeraLite
Also some energy informations are dispayed in the TAB ENERGY → Energy usage

This Fibaro module has a number of configuration parameters that control various functions of the device, including switch type (momentary/toggle), dim rate, device associations, auto off timer and the list goes on?
Full information about these parameters is in the User Manual.

But by default, these parameters aren?t displayed in the VERA device settings
So I do n ot know exactly the level of support of the Fibaro Wall Plug by the Veralite .

You should be able to add the configuration variables on the Device Options tab. For each variable that you want to see, click Add configuration settings and then enter the variable number under Variable. The default monitor only will show the current settings. You will need to Save/Reload and refresh your browser before the settings appear.

If you want to change a setting, change Data Size to 1 byte dec and enter your Desired Value. The usual Save/Reload/Refresh cycle should show the new settings.

Thanks for the procedure .

Looking at the LuaUpnp log , sounds like the following variables are activated by default with their corresponding graphs displayed , as per this extract og the log file :

Device_Variable:1mLoge[0m was: 35,25,71,1373694046,647 now: 27,25,71,1373694047,648
Device_Variable:1mActualUsagee[0m was: 1 now: 1
Device_Variable:1mWattse[0m was: 27 now: 33

In this video I used the default setting for the Fibaro Wall Plug.

As you can see it works fine with VERA lite and you can get power consumption information in the ENGY plugin.

As the other posts have said you can then change any parameters by manually adding them in the Device Settings tab.

Mark.

Hi there, I am using the WallPlug Fibaro but I don’t succeed in use the power meter to trigger anything. In other words, it reports the correct power displaying it on the ERGY and on the icon. But If I’d like to run a scene based on power consumptiom, I cannot do it. I tried to set some WallPlug parameters, but any results. Have you any aidea to suggesto to me? Thank you very much. Bye from Italy
