I just read that Swann security ( the DVR, camera folks) is releasing a new “hub to control everything” called SwannOne Hub. Have we have gone from few options to overwhelmingly too many options. My new acronym YAHAP.
I swear to god I thought YAHAP was the name of the company until I read your post.
Also, Swann has always reminded me of brands like Kraco, the lousy car audio maker you could only find at KMart 25 years ago.

Ha, too funny. Yes, although I have a Swann DVR at one business that was put in pre build out to watch the contractors, and for 250.00 with 4 cameras, it has worked very well for 4 years. so we left it in.
Maybe I should crowd fund the company YAHAP LLC. The most greatest HA controller. Connects everything to everything (even if it doesn’t want to be connected) and has every radio and protocol ever created and all those that have yet to be, via firmware update. Making it future proof for ever + a day. Ah, the future looks bright. Wait… I believe we have heard this before from every HA company…our hub is the “only” device you’ll ever need to control everything.
