I am replacing my Kwikset locks with Yale touchscreens. The Kwikset locks, when selecting "Keep a copy of my PIN codes so that I can view them later " show the PIN code for each user within the UI. The Yale locks do not do this; they only show ****. Does anyone know why it works correctly with the Kwikset locks but not with the Yale ones?
strange. I use Yale deadbolt (with the buttons) and it actually shows the PIN numbers.
Just to make sure, you programmed the PINs through Vera?
Same here, I use the Yale deadbolt with touch buttons and I can see my pins along with associated user, yes I set the codes in Vera.
Odd. I note that all of the responses list the Yale lock with the buttons; in my case all the locks are the touchscreen models. I guess it’s also possible that it’s a firmware issue. I’m running Vera3 with UI5 1.5.432. I’ve tested on two different Vera’s. I have five of the Yale locks and three of the Kwikset locks. The behavior I see is consistent across all devices. None of the Yale locks show the pins, all of the Kwiksets shot the pins. I’ve attached a screenshot of the UI. All pins have been added using the Vera UI.
I’m using the Yale Number pad deadbolt not the touch screen so that may be the difference.
