I wonder, can a windoze can with the right .dll/ocx, could one write a VB app that say had a couple buttons on it, and you could program the onclick event with something like zwave1.SendScene(“dim bedroom”) be written fairly easily?
Call me crazy (Crowd yells “CRAZY!”), but wouldn’t it be kinda cool if you could have some kind of zwave.ocx that you could do some basic stuff in particular send scenes and receive device status’s and then hook it into some kind of voice recognition.ocx?
Is it possible (or perhaps even exists) a particular USB zwave stick that can send (or told to be sent) scene commands?
It’d sure solve my “what is a good controller” issue and make it real easy for clients to us haha.
Anyhow, just thinking out loud…
