Wish MCV had *notified me* of their Vera 1/2 swap-out program!

Holy crap! Was it asking too much that MCV at least email us Vera 1 owners with info on the (now-closed, as of 12/2010) Vera 2 swap-out offer?

I got a personal email from MCV. I guess not everyone did.

Just checked my email archives (Gmail and I never throw anything away, and check the Spam folder religiously)… no sign of a notice, but naturally I don’t expect the system to be perfect.

I get the sense I’m being told, “You should have known; after all, it was here in the Forum.”

Well, I’ve avoided the Forum for almost a year due to rising frustration keeping up with all the mish-mash of changes in corporate direction back in 2010. I hereby resolve to get back “into” the Vera scene on a more regular basis. I may even raise my expectations a bit, seeing that the Vera community has remained strong (I’ve still never encountered another person, anyway, who’s heard of Vera or MiCasaVerde … we’re not ubiquitous like back in the days of X10).

What i gave you was my personal experience :wink:

As far as i know MCV contacts you on the emailaddress you stated on the remote service @MCV.
And that works for every user you created there.
