I have double gang box at my front door that has 2 switches in it. One switch controls the outdoor light and the other one controls a hallway light. They are both single pole. The switch that controls the hallway light has a white, black, red, ground wire in it. The switch that controls the porch light has has 2 black wires attached.
I want to change out the porch switch with the Ha06c switch to be able to control with my Vera box. How would I wire it?
Thanks
It sounds like the hallway is set-up in a 3 way configuration. You should have another switch controlling the Hallway from the sound of it. Something like this:
If this is the case you need a 3 way switch with an auxillary switch. Here is how I installed mine. This is not advice from an electrician!

Determine where the power is coming in from. In my case I had a switch upstairs and downstairs. The power came in the downstairs switch. Here is where you want to install the Auxillary Switch. The white with red stripe wire goes to the 2 black wires. Tie the traveller wire to the red wire and green goes to ground.

The other switch is where the master goes. Determine which black wire goes to the load. Tie the blue wire to that wire. Then tie the black wire on the switch to the other black wire not going to the load. Tie your traveller wire to the red wire. Green to ground. Tie your white wire to the neutral.
As stated above I am not an electrician but I did mine.
