Wifi Bridge Issues

Like MiLight to work with Vera, you need an old model. The new devices do not work with Vera. Android has to work with Milight 2 app not with Milight 3 app. You need something to look like in the following link:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Free-Shipping-DC5-24V-Wireless-RGB-wifi-remote-controller-for-2-4G-Mi-Light-RGB-W/32685586726.html

I found other sellers, but they only sell sets.

Rex,
I used your App with my old Wi-Fi Controller and it has worked well over the years.

I needed to upgrade my WiFi Controller and RGBW Controller because I wanted a wall control and they only work with the new stuff.

I now see in the forum that your App only works with the old Wi-Fi Controller.

Question:
Is it impossible to create an App for the new Wi-Fi Controller, or you haven’t had a chance to update the old one yet.

Thank you for a quick response.
Jim

@jimmyhtz are you referring to the Milight Bridge v6 and support of RGBWWCW lamps?
If yes, the end of this thread may help.

Actually, I found this thread last week.
I uploaded the new files, but I haven’t had time to tweak out the issues yet.
Thank for the link though
[applaud] vote for you

I dunno if anyone can help here, but this place seems to have the most knowledgeable people about this outdated piece of kit.

I have LimitlessLED, and it was all working fine, but now it seems like the bridge can’t communicate with the bulbs.

I reset the bridge and installed the new firmware (found in this thread) and it connects to my wifi network just fine. But for some reason the milight app on my android phone can’t find the bridge. The Light Controller app can find a ‘hub’, and I can login to the bridge’s admin panel at 192.168.1.7

The remote controls the bulbs just fine, but I can’t get the rest to work. Does anyone have any ideas on where I’ve gone wrong?

Like I said it was all working great, and then one day it just stopped.
