Im using Sonos too, and Prowl. It is as if the SM103 have not been used for some time, it goes to sleep and then it takes longer to activate…? To save battery i guess. I have not seen any “ghost” triggers yet.
The SM103 will go to sleep as it is battery powered, but motion should wake it instantly to send information. It will then wake up periodically e.g 10800 seconds to look for any new updates from Vera.
Do you notice the light on the SM103 come on instantly when the doorbell is pushed?

I dont dont se the light come on at all on the SM103. When i click “Run” on the “Doorbell trigger scene” directly from the menu. It also has about 5 seconds delay before the scene is executed. Maybe its waiting for Sonos to find the Doorbell.wav file on my nas…
The light won’t flash unless you physically trigger the device.
