Which Mobile Apps are users using for Vera?

Vera app for most things when I am remote. It seems to work decently for simple things in its latest form.

Imperihome pro for inside the house. I have touchscreens set up to bring certain cameras on screen when movement is detected outside the house. Very nice for that unexpected visitor. For a quick view of a camera while remote I will also use imperihome.

See this thread for download link: http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php/topic,25219.0.html

Imperihome Pro, don’t do much remotely except for check the temperature and make sure the doors are locked.

Homewave. Easy to copy configuration files to different IOS devices and also super fast to connect. Love the clean and modern UI.

I am using VeraMobile. Not to much out there for Windows Phone.

I’m testing the beta of that on a Windows 10 laptop. I do like the fact the UI is more or less identical to that of the Android app. (and I am assuming the iOS one)
I am biased but I use Vera proximity to handle my automation coupled with PLEG.

The few things that are not done by Automation are handle by HAL my phone is always close by and using Ok Google to start HAL works great.
I only have a problem when the car AC fan is on high … A problem in Texas in the Summer … Than I have to lower the fan speed to talk.
Richard, does your proximity app use Google Location Provider Services (not sure on the correct name), or does it directly poll GPS? Location apps had always trashed my battery so I’ve avoided them, but things that use the Google Location thing seem to be much better.

What phone do you have? Proximity is going to drain more battery then if you didn’t have it installed, but I never noticed much of a difference in battery life on my Note 3,4,5 phones.

I use Imperihome PRO on the 3 android phone’s and the tablet.

it works great.

U17 only, yeah? Doesn’t say in the store.

I use Imperihome, we just wrote a review on how we use it to control our Vera Z-Wave network
We have some of our screenshots showing the setup and how we customized it.

Check out the review below:

Imperihome home. I have this on wall tablet in garage and it’s great for the fact that I don’t have gate opener wall button so I control it with zwave. On phone I use it every day. Created diffident scenes for home access and alarm away, stay, etc. It’s great and I use the same tablet for dsc server. That way I have multiple ways of adding users. Would be nice to use blue iris app through vera but it slows it down to much. Better now that imperihome is available for iphone I installed it on sons phone and created a sence so he can unlock the house when he gets home from school. Of course need to make sure he don’t mess around with other things on it so hide all the devices on it too.

ImperiHome Pro
