What trendnet cameras work with the Vera 2?

Hi,

I’ve searched the forum as well as looked at the IP compatible camera list. But only noticed a handful of them. Can anyone let me know what TrendNet Cameras work if they know? I am specifically looking at this camera.

TV-IP410W Wireless Pan/Tilt Internet Camera Server

I really want to set this up. can anyone confirm if it works or not? Thanks

I have 2 non pan/tilt ones and they work fine. I’d imagine so long as it has a still picture URL (probably the same as mine) then it should work fine.
To get the pan and tilt working you would need to find the API and modify either the Panasonic or foscam plugin (the latter is already a modified Panasonic plugin)

How to add AirLink101 SkyIPCam747/747W (AICN747 and AICN747W) to Vera.

Ok after several hours of fiddling I got my AirLink101 SkyIPCam747 and 747W cameras to work. First I wanted to update the firmware. To do this I used TRENDnet TV-IP410 and TV-IP410W firmware to upgrade each camera.

Download firmware from these two links:

https://www.trendnet.com/support/supportdetail.asp?prod=155_TV-IP410

https://www.trendnet.com/support/supportdetail.asp?prod=160_TV-IP410W

Next edit each firmware file with hex editor. I used ?Hex Fiend? on my mac. After opening file(s) search for 410 and override with the following?

Change TV-IP410 to AICN747A
Change TV-IP410W to AICN747W

Now you can update firmware within the web page on each camera tools. Now you should have TRENDnet cameras.

Setup cameras following TRENDnet manual. Once setup you can add to Vera using the following instructions. This was done on my VeraLite with firmware version 1.7.919.

Add camera(s) to Vera. I will show my simple example, but be sure to update camera passwords from default.

  1. Click ?Cameras?
  2. Click ?Add Camera?
  3. Click ?IP Camera?
  4. Click ?Next?
  5. Click ?Next?
  6. Click ?Next?
  7. Click ?Manually install the camera (advanced)?
  8. Select ?If the camera is not in the list ?click here? for manual configuration.?
  9. Select camera type ?Other IP camera?
  10. Type Camera URL ?http://192.168.0.241/cgi/mjpg/mjpg.cgi?
  11. Type Camera Username ?admin?
  12. Type Camera Password ?admin?
  13. Click ?Test?

You should now see live video from the camera.

  1. Type in Camera Name
  2. Select Room
  3. Click ?Next?

Hope this was helpful
