What is the difference between these Yale locks?

My YRD240 touch screen stopped responding to inputs this morning. It all of a sudden said “Time Expired” when there was no one at the front door. I went to check it out and the pad would respond sporadically. Even after several resets it wouldn’t work right. Now only certain buttons work. Still works from Vera to open and close but that is it. Very disappointed that this is happening. Called Yale technical support for replacement and spent an hour with them on the phone. Had to fill out some form and submit so we will see how that goes.[/quote]

I received my YRD120ZW619 keyless touchpad deadbolt from Aartech and it installed so easily. Looks great!

The problem I have is that when I go to install it on my Vera Edge I choose Yale YRD120-ZW deadbolt and it brings me through the process correctly but then at the pairing phase it tells me the device is a YRD220-ZW and installs that control profile.

Now the problem I have is that the lock will randomly go into Lockout Mode and lock us out of the house. Cant even override with the app the only way I can get into the house is by going through the keypad and disabling the lockout mode. PIN * 6 * 3 * then it works again.

Fine for me but now my wife has been locked locked out of the house and thats a problem.

I feel as though I need to override the profile and manually change it somehow to reflect the YRD120-ZW configuration.

I don’t know how to do that. Could someone give me a hand before I send this lock back to Aartech and call it a failed experiement?

I am trying to install the YRD-240 and I’m assuming I set it as the 220 when attempting to pair it? I see no option for the 240. The Vera Plus is telling me “Z-Wave device 80 ERROR: Failed to setup security…”. I’ve removed and added it twice already and I’m not succeeding. Any pointers? Thanks in advance.
