Water valve at low temperatures?

I notice that the WaterCop and Fortrezz zwave water valves say they work down to 35 degrees. I would love to install one or two of these (pricey!) to turn off the water and open the drain in my cabin in the winter instead of crawling around in the dirt when I arrive and leave. However, it gets pretty darn close to or below 35 degrees at times, particularly when we are away. That’s the reason I’m draining the pipes when we are gone.

Does anyone have experience with these values at low temperatures? And perhaps how they would fail? If they can still be operated at low temperature manually, that would be far more acceptable than getting stuck open or closed until they warm.

thanks
