WAN Light blinking fast after battery operation

Hello Folks !

yesterday night I was trying include one controller, I must to turn off my vera3 to use with batteries…I don’t know like turn off vera3 with security…then I take off the power and plug in battery… all ok I made this many times…

yesterday after work with battery and return to power source my vera3 stays with WAN light blinking fast and in setup net&wifi says no internet conection…but I’m in the office out of my home and I have connection and I can see the device I have installed yesterday night.

how can I correct this ?? (some operations are failing because I think the connection is not ok for all operations)…

some help about this ??

thanks !!!

I have been having this problem as well. I am suspecting a bad connection of the network wire at the Veralite. I have unplugged and plugged back in several times and eventually I get a good connection. It has happened twice. I have had to do a factory reset to get it all running properly, but it always seems to stem from the connection at the veralite. I think the cord is ok, but the actual jack that is causing the problem. I will follow the thread and add more if I can pinpoint the problem.

I will change the cable what goes from vera3 to my router.

I can see during the day the problem is solved but after turns again.
thanks !

I just ran into this. I think my problem was I accidently plugged a CAT cable that was used during initializing a Vera camera that I still had connected to the router instead of the normal cable. This cable must be different because I couldn’t initialize the camera with any CAT 5 cable, it needed the one it came with.

I tried replacing it with the correct cable, nothing. Reset Vera, nothing. Reset router, nothing. The thing that finally fixed it was to click the option to restore to network default settings under “Net and Wifi”. I don’t know why, but that cable messed up the settings somehow.

After clicking that the Vera did it’s thing and reset itself. No issue since.

Yes RHINESEL,

after I had that problem, occurs a lot of time and I go to the reset network and all stay ok again !

this solution was send by the MCV support team…
