Hey was seeing if anyone in here knew how to invert the picture. They sell it with a mount to attach to the ceiling so inverting the camera would make sense. But I contacted tech support and no luck there.
you can do this going in the Ip camera tool…this program has a option to mirror and invert camera.
I’ve just installed the new Vistacam PT camera on my system - Verde sees the camera and added it with no problem, however when I try to navigate to the IP to get to the camera tool, both Chrome and IE time out before the site comes up, telling me that the IP cannot be resolved - can anyone shed any light on this issue…?
Thanks
Eric
Camera tool is a separated program you install it in your PC and try access.
comes with a cd together with the camera.
camera tool sucks… and older versions are seen as virus… do not use this for firmware upgrades as it might crash.
the reason why u get a time-out is coz u dont have the right port probably. try http://ip_of_cam:88
So is there no way to invert the image through the web interface (i.e., at the camera/firmware level)? Installing a separate viewing software on my computer kind of defeats the purpose of integrated Vera software…doesn’t it?
You actually just need to log into the back end of the camera via IP. This wasn’t very intuitive 3-4 years ago. Some people thought you did it right in the vera GUI interface and you didn’t. Hope this helps.
