VistaCam 1103 gone offline how to get it back again?

My Ezlo Vistacam 1103 outdoor camera has gone offline in the Mios app and in the Ezlogic web UI.

I tried power cycling it but this did not fix it. It does still have power however as the IR lights still light up on it at night time.

I can no longer ping its IP on my WLAN. So it seems to have dropped of the WIFI network.

What is the best way to reset it or get it connected to the WIFI again?

Thanks.

In the Android Mios app, I saw this Reset option.

And I then held down the reset button, until the Green “Status” light on the RJ45 connector stopped flashing.

However after that it just took me back to the first screen (first screenshot) and didnt appear to have done anything?

I still cant play this cameras feed in the Mios app.

This Reset process did not mention or ask me anything about the Wifi network the camera is to be connected too.

Hello @cw-kid

In that case, please press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds to reset the network settings, or for 15 seconds to perform a factory reset.

If you want to receive a voice prompt from the camera, connect a 3.5mm headset to the red connector.

Give it a try and let us know your results and any comments.

Pressing that reset button for 5 or 15 seconds seems to do nothing !

In the end I deleted this camera from the system in the web UI, under Settings Devices area.

In the Mios app I then added a “new” camera and selected a Vistacam 1103 again and it went through the onboarding process OK and is now back again and I can view the camera again OK in the app.

One big change however, the first time I tried to pair this camera to the system months ago, I was unable to pair it to my regular 2.4Ghz SSID as I had a special # character in my password and at that time I had to pair it to our Guest Wifi network instead.

However today I was able to pair it OK to our regular 2.4Ghz Wifi network, with a # in the password. So that seems to have improved at least.

@JonathanB the ticket number for that was ECON-3394

Also it looks like the cameras password for RTSP stream remains the same as it was before, which is good. The password is found in the ha-webrtcd.log file on the Ezlo controller.

So this Ezlo VistaCam 1103 is now working again in 3rd party apps like TinyCam Pro.
