I have just got a Vision Z-Wave Window Door Sensor to use with my VeraLite, running UI5.
When I go to “Add Device”, and go through the inclusion routine, Vera recognizes the new device, but as a Generic10 rather than as a Sensor.
The icon Vera assigns is a light bulb, as used by switches, rather than the window set into some bricks, as used by Door/Window sensors. (see atachments)
As it isn’t being recognized as a Sensor I can’t incorporate it into a scene where the window being opened triggers an alarm.
And I get error messages: “Failed to setup security” and “Waiting for wakeup to configure device”.
Any suggestions please ? Or is there a more reliable Door Window Sensor that Vera is happier with ?
