How can I update the labels on the button labels for the Virtual plugin?
I want to replace the “On” “Off” labels with “Open” and “Close”
you would need to change the device type in a valve/relais type instead of the switch type. not that easy.
As @Da-JoJo says, you could only do this with VirtualSwitch by modifying the plugin files. This is not a simple fix.
I included the capability to change button labels in MultiSwitch. If you wanted to do this for more than one switch it may be your best solution. MultiSwitch gives you eight switches in a single device. Each button works as a toggle - click on, click off - but you can also group them as Radio buttons so then you could have them work in pairs of open and close buttons. For more info, see MultiSwitch
