Somehow my powermax plugin automatically got updated to version 1.0 today (?).
So after a bit “forced” reconfiguration of my scenes and PGM I switched on PowerLink mode and did some testing with my Powemax+ and external GSM unit (daisy chained to vera).
I “created” a tamper alarm. SMS got sent to my mobile phone and the Alam Panel called me. But then the Vera “hanged” at “Calling user”. The alarm panel showed “Trouble Power Link something”. I could not control anything in the Panel Vera GUI.
I had to restart my Vera. Turned on logging in the plugin. Re-did the tamper alarm. But this time everything worked good. SMS Sent. Unit called. No “hickup” and everything seems to be ok.
Is it ok to keep the logging on for potential future problems? (I log to USB)
@hek: Apparently the 1.0 version finally got through the approval process and was made available in the Marketplace. Hence it will have updated automatically.
Not sure what happened, but it would be very strange for the plugin to cause the Vera to hang. The message was most likely ‘Trouble - check system’, which will appear if the panel is in a trouble state. Turning debug logging on is always useful.
Ok, i’ll keep on logging. Maybe perform some more tests during the weekend. But it is really nice that it seems to be ok to use powerlink mode together with GSM unit.
