I have been trying to purchase a Veralite, but I had a hard time finding it for the advertised price of $99.95
The getvera website lists the price as $99.95 but only the Brazilian/Australian version is available for purchase. Other vendors say backordered with no specific date (one lists Dec 31 2015). Amazon lists it (as Amazon being the seller, not a third party) at $113 although they are an authorized dealer.
I e-mailed Vera and asked them about this. The answer was that Veralite was replaced by the Vera Edge and that it is no longer in stock at Vera. Other vendors can sell it at whatever price they want, and it may be higher than the latest MSRP of $99.95
I really wanted a Veralite because I hear UI5 is reliable and UI7 is not (at least not yet) and there is no way to downgrade Vera Edge to UI5.
I ended up getting the Veralite G from Tigerdirect, same as the Veralite but the OEM version with just a different case. They have all sorts of rebates and coupons, which might be an indication that Tigerdirect is trying to get rid of their inventory and may replace them with Vera Edge based bundles.
You can get the Veralite G for $89 after rebates and such.
I got the energy bundle. It includes Veralite, a thermostat and a power module. It came down to $99 after rebates and discounts. I figured I can sell the thermostat (I already have zwave thermostats) for a pretty penny as it goes for over $100 by itself.
So anyone interested in getting a Veralite, hurry before they are all gone.
