If you are replacing an older Vera Lite … with a Newer Vera Lite … then you can do a restore … but you must also restore the Z-Wave Network (Dongle in previous releases).
You should NOT plugin the old controller after that!

If you are trying to duplicate your setup … with a different set of Z-Wave devices … this will not work … It is very unlikely that you will get the same DeviceIDs assigned to each Z-Wave device you include on the new Vera Lite.
You can explain to me the sequence of operations to be done to save and then restore the configuration from the old to the new Veralite (both latest release).
