Hey Richard,
Every time one of my scenes runs, I get a email that the scene ran… I went into Notification Configuration and unchecked H/A/N/V modes thinking that would stop the emails. But that didn’t work… Am i missing something?
Thanks a lot.
Kyle
You need to uncheck the user for the scene.
Vera Alerts does not use the Notification Configuration HANV yet … I am waiting on an API from MCV.
Thanks for getting back to me… I went under the scene and looked under “notify these people” and my name is there, but its off… When I look under “Also, execute the following Luup code:” I have the following:
–[[StartVeraAlerts]]luup.call_action(‘urn:richardgreen:serviceId:VeraAlert1’,‘DeviceNotification’, {Msg=‘Running%20scene%3A%20Porch%20Light%20On’, Name=‘Porch%20Light%20On’, Description=‘Running%20scene%3A%20Porch%20Light%20On’, DeviceID=0, HouseModeMask=15, Service=‘’, Variables=‘’, Recipients =‘’}, 27)–[[EndVeraAlerts]]
Every scene that I have has that in there… I’ve tried to remove it, but it always comes back lol…
EDIT:
So I switched over to IE from Chrome and tried to remove the script from Luup and restarted the vera and it seems like that did the trick.
EDIT2:
Nevermind that didn’t work either… hrmm
You need to remove the user … save the scene changes.
Then go to Vera Alerts Notification Configuration … Save the changes.
Are you saying to remove the user from VeraAlerts Profile?
NO uncheck the user from the scene.
On the Veraedge there is no way to do this… it’s either on or off… ugh… damn UI7
