Holding it while toggling power seems to “do something” at least for me. Not that I can get it installed anyhow since I have same issue as the rest of new Edge users it seems.

Having the same problem : unable to factory reset the veraedge and to gain access to the box after a firmware upgrade.
Does anyone have a solution ?

You need to hold the reset 30 seconds to reset it.

The procedure was actually very easy:

  1. Make sure VeraEdge is powered up
  2. Push & hold for 30 seconds, the small reset button on the side with a paper clip or equivalent.
  3. After 30 seconds releases button. you will immediately see lights start to flash & change.
  4. After a few minutes it will Finish, Restart & Stabilize.
  5. Next you will have to reauthorize & restore backup.

Just happened to me. I tried powering up and then pressing reset with paper clip for 30 seconds. Now the Power and Internet LED’s are flashing, the lower three (wifi zwave and service) are solid.

Now what? Just patiently wait and then reassign and reload my backup ???

I also tried to do a factory reset, top two LEDs are blinking (Power + Ethernet), three bottom LEDs are solid.
Did your Vere ever start up again?

Mine has been in this state for about 15 minutes now.

Problem solved.
Restarted Vera and then logged logged in to getver.com and re-added Vera + restored backup. :slight_smile:
