Long time PLEG (and Vera Alerts) user here. I’ve been playing with Reactor the past few days and really like it so far. I’m toying with the idea of moving all/most my logic over in a controlled fashion over time. This implies that Veraalerts will have to live with Reactor.
I’ve noticed that every time I use a Notify action with Vera Native, that it puts two entries in Veraalerts. I’m not sure which one to use. Can someone help? Is this normal behavior?
There was an issue with 7.29 in the late beta/release candidates where the scene request would duplicate a scene rather than update it. That was supposed to have been fixed before release, but I can’t test it at the moment because everything I have is now on 7.30. And it looks like 7.31 Beta was just announced… busy busy.
If you go into the ReactorSensor’s activities, create a comment, delete the comment, and save, do the duplicates go away? There is code in Reactor to try to detect and remove duplicate/unused notification scenes.
Thanks for the responses! Yes, I did notice over the weekend that if I go in and edit/delete the comment that the dupe goes away. Nice feature/catch on your part…
I’m fine waiting for .30 / .31 (happy to see that beta) if we think that’s the best course for now. It’s not a critical bug/situation.
