VeraAlerts and Samsung New Power Saving Modes

Richard, any time I activate a power saving mode in my galaxy s5 that includes restrict background data, obviously VeraAlerts stop alerting, but when the phone returns to a regular non power saving mode and the device activates again background data, VeraAlerts won’t catch up, I have even waited 24 hours and the alerts don’t come in, nor the generated during power save nor the new ones. The only solution is to unregister and register again VeraAlerts. In that moment, it receives only the generated after the new register and the others are lost. Any clue?

You might try to recycle the Wifi connection and/or reboot the phone. There are some bugs in Google play services in some configurations.

Richard, thanks for your answer. I have tried recycling Wi-Fi, recycling data, activating and deactivating background data and the only thing that works is unregister and register again VeraAlerts

Do you have two phones with the Same Vera Alerts Mobile ID ?

No, I do have two phones, my wife’s and mine, but each has it’s very own Vera ID.
