Is there an app or plug-in that will let a USB-enabled uninterruptible power supply talk to Vera3? I’d really like to have it send notices when power is out for more than 10 minutes and again when the system either comes back on line or when the Vera shuts down cleanly before the batteries die.
If you search the forum there was something out there for APC. Nothing currently out there now. The hardest part is finding the software that can be installed one vera.

Although this doesn’t interface with Vera, this add in for the APC Smart UPS provides a wealth of notifications by email. You can have it send you email:
- If there is a power outage (assuming your router and modem are on the ups);
- When diagnostic tests are run and their result;
- House power is high or low;
- Area temperature
and many, many other conditions.
