Hi
I’ve a Vera3 that I can’t connect to and have managed to do a system reset and have ssh access, with the aim to restore from backup. However I can’t access the default home page as the luup engine is taking to long to load. Browsing the forums I’ve seen a few posts say that restoring the firmware using the instructions on http://wiki.micasaverde.com/index.php/Firmware_Flash_Vera3 works, however this page is no longer available. Does anyone have these instructions or knows how I can restore this? If it helps I do have access to an XP computer which I’ve seen is required.
Cheers
Rick
Hello @Slartybart
The process you’ll need to perform is a restore. Please keep in mind that the first step is crucial. If necessary, repeat it multiple times until you’re sure the unit enters flashing mode. Follow the steps in the file attached, please.

Hi Jonathon,
Thanks for the reply. I had tried that and have restored the unit, but will try again. However the part that’s now failing is loading the dashboard on 192.168.81.1, I get a luup engine not loading message. Is there a way this can be fixed?
Hello @Slartybart
Unfortunately, the resources we have available for the Vera3 are limited as the unit has been discontinued. The guide I shared earlier is the primary documentation we can provide through Customer Care.
I understand the situation can be frustrating, and I wish we had more to offer. If there is anything else we can assist you with within these limitations, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
