I created a virtual switch. I set it up with a Micro-ses switch for power consumption. So when the power consumption is over 30 watts it will send me an email and when it drops to below 30 watts it will send me an email. For the few days it was working fine. I have my desktop PC hooked to the micro-ses. This way I know when my computer is turned on and off. Last night I shut down my PC and went to bed. I got up in the morning today and went to work. By the time I got home I had close to 100 emails telling my PC was turned on. It was sending me an email every 5 to 10 minutes. Soon as I got home I turned on my PC and it sent me an email that the PC was turned on and all the emails stopped.
Any idea what happened?
Does something like this happen often?
