Vera Port Scanning

I’ve run into a bit of an issue with my vera doing port scans. My brother laser printer is popping out of sleep mode every 20-30 minutes. I looked through the logs and based on the timing it looks like the vera port scans are waking it up. Oddly this is a new issue even though I’ve had the vera for several months and the printer has been here the entire time. I’m on UI5 and here is the log information.

I found this old thread about it which links to an open bug request.

Does anyone know how to stop vera from doing this?

Sorry, I think I found the answer. Should have gone down a few more in my search results. I’ll post back if this doesn’t fix it.

Simply using the UI-provided checkbox to not 'auto detect devices on my home network' has stopped that incessant chatter, as mentioned earlier in this thread. I haven't needed to modify the xml.
