I’m following the instructions in the video but to activate my Kwikset lock Vera Lite is in slow blinking mode, I remove batteries in lock, press program button 3 times, reinsert batteries (i see no red light on lock ) I get 1 loud beep, 1 red light on lock i then press the upper left button on lock but the ready light on the Vera will not flutter, it just continues to blink slowly. It obviously does not pair. Any suggestions would be helpful.
Try to un-pair it first.
First time I heard Flutter to describe the pairing action 
I just installed one of these myself. It was necessary to un-pair then re-pair twice (the second time about an hour later) in order to get the lock to work appropriately (it wasn’t accepting new access codes after the first time). However, all is working as expected now!
When you refer to un-pair are you referring to the “exclude” process that’s described on the MIV website?

I’ve attached a picture of the inside of my lock, am I missing a module? If so can you tell me where I could obtain the necessary module.

Sure looks like your ZWave module is missing, yes.
You can buy them on eBay (just the module), but they’re not cheap.
Where did you get your Kwikset lock? If it was sold to you as a ZWave lock, I’d return/exchange it.
It’s confusing because the two boxes are identical, sometimes with only the model number/barcode sticker different.

Thank you, I found the module on Amazon for $69.99 and a couple on ebay which sold for about the same.
